The Human Resources department has a key role in realizing FMO’s mission through close collaboration with our stakeholders, employee engagement, organisational development, talent search and acquisition and change management. Our role focuses on developing the right environment for our staff in order to support them to achieve both business and personal development goals. Relevant management Information will become an increasingly important input into HR decision-making going forward. 

The Human Resources department currently consists of 13 professionals working in different roles: Advisory, Talent Acquisition, Learning & Development, Compensation & Benefits, Organisational Development and HR Services.

We are looking for an experienced HR professional to work in our HR Advisory team in the role of:

Senior Human Resources Advisor

Stakeholder management, consultancy, employee engagement and excellence are key qualities required to drive change, innovation and the realization of FMO’s business goals. Your core responsibility is to provide HR advice, coach and guide management and our professionals of the client-facing Investment Departments. In addition you have a role to innovate and steer HR policies and guidelines of dedicated HR topics. You are comfortable acting on both a HR strategy policy level as well as on an operational level.

Your role

  • Business partner for management and FMO’s professionals on all HR related issues for the Investment Departments of FMO;
  • Driver of behavioral change. Being able to translate FMO’s core mission and values into HR strategy and implementation;
  • Accountable for HR related topics, policymaking and development, project management and driving management organizational buy-in;
  • Bringing a relevant network in order to identify relevant partners for cooperation and to leverage external developments and innovations in human capital.

Your background

  • Master’s degree and at least 10 years of relevant experience as HR Business Partner/consultant in the field of Human Resources;
  • Working experience in a highly professional environment (corporates, consultancy);
  • Working experience in an international and financial environment is a pre;
  • Thorough understanding of labor and social legislation, relevant remuneration regulations;
  • Solid understanding social & organizational dynamics and change management;
  • Strong affinity with FMO’s mission and values.
